A Common Myth
Veneers don't mean shaving your teeth into tiny pegs
Many of the dramatic "before" photos online come from rushed treatment, where teeth are aggressively prepared so everything can be finished in a few days.
When veneers are carefully planned, many well-selected cases need only minimal enamel reduction. Our goal is always to preserve as much healthy tooth as possible while creating a restoration that fits beautifully, seals properly and lasts.
When we design your smile, we look at:

- Whether your teeth are crowded or already well aligned
- How your bite comes together

Will my teeth be shaved down?
Not into tiny pegs. In many well-selected cases, veneers need only minimal enamel reduction. How much depends on your teeth, the material and your smile design, and we always preserve as much healthy tooth as possible.
Which veneer material is best?
It depends on you. Translucent zirconia, e.max and feldspathic porcelain each have a purpose, based on your tooth color, bite, enamel, grinding habits and goals.
Will my veneers look natural?
Your smile is designed for your face, with tooth shape, proportions, texture, translucency and shade chosen to suit you. The goal is to look like the most confident version of yourself.
Are veneers only for women?
Not at all. Many of our smile makeover patients are men. Veneers can create a stronger, more masculine smile with broader shapes, defined anatomy and a healthy, natural color.
Can I get veneers if I clench or grind?
Often, yes. Grinding is one of the things we consider when choosing your material, and translucent zirconia is extremely strong for patients who put a lot of force on their teeth.
Do I need impressions?
No goopy impressions. We use a quick digital scan to plan your smile.
What happens at my first visit?
We examine your teeth, gums and bite, talk through the smile you want and explain your options and pricing clearly.
Does insurance cover veneers?
Veneers are usually considered cosmetic, so insurance often doesn't cover them. You can spread the cost into monthly payments with CareCredit or Sunbit.

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We're closed on weekends.
