Tired of snoring, but don't want to wear a snore guard every night?
Solea® Sleep uses advanced CO₂ laser technology to gently tighten the soft tissues at the back of the throat, helping reduce the vibrations that cause snoring. No incisions, no stitches, and no devices to wear while you sleep.
- No injections, no cutting, no downtime
- About 5–10 minutes per visit
- More affordable than a snore guard
Why Solea®
A simpler alternative to a snore guard
Snorers are often given a custom guard to wear every night. Solea® works on the soft palate itself, so there's nothing to wear while you sleep.
| Compare | Solea® laser | Snore guard |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | In-office laser treatment | Custom mouthpiece |
| At night | Nothing to wear | Worn every night |
| Visits | Usually 3 quick visits, 5–10 min each | Made to fit, then adjusted |
| Cost | More affordable | Typically costs more |
Solea® Laser Treatment
How Solea® works
Snoring is the soft palate at the back of your throat vibrating as you breathe. Solea®'s laser gently heats the collagen in that tissue so it tightens and vibrates less.
- Step 1
Consultation
We talk through your snoring and check that Solea® is a good fit for you.
- Step 2
A quick, comfortable visit
A little topical spray, then about 5–10 minutes of laser treatment. Most patients don't need nitrous oxide, though it's available if you feel anxious.
- Step 3
A series of three
Many patients notice a difference after one treatment. For the best results, we typically recommend three.
- Step 4
Quick maintenance
Soft tissue changes over time, so most patients return every 6 to 8 months. Many find they need it less often.

Questions
Before you book
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. New patients are welcome at our Calabasas office. Book online or call 818.717.7872.
Does Solea® hurt?
There are no injections and no cutting. We use a little topical spray, and most patients don't need nitrous oxide. If you feel anxious, nitrous is available to help you relax.
Is there any downtime?
No. You can talk, eat and go back to work the same day.
How many treatments will I need?
Many patients notice a difference after one treatment, but for the best results we typically recommend a series of three.
Is Solea® permanent?
It isn't a permanent cure. Soft tissue changes over time, and weight gain can make snoring worse. Most patients come back every 6 to 8 months for a quick maintenance treatment, and some only once a year.
Does Solea® treat sleep apnea?
Solea® treats snoring, not obstructive sleep apnea. If your symptoms suggest sleep apnea, we'll recommend seeing a sleep physician first.
Does insurance cover Solea®?
Coverage varies by plan. We'll review yours with you, and you can spread the cost into monthly payments with CareCredit or Sunbit.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. We're closed on weekends.
